How to upgrade your Blackberry to OS 7.1
Smartphones with Blackberry 7.1 OS are designed to help users to be productive virtually anywhere. Running the new BlackBerry 7.1 OS, a BlackBerry Smartphone can be converted into a mobile hotspot that can be shared by up to 5 Wi-Fi-enabled devices, including laptops and tablets. OS 7.1 allows user to see search results right on to the phone as they start typing letters in the search box, these are Bing search results. The new NFC feature makes sharing data simple and quick. The data such as contact info, images, videos and other documents can easily be transferred just by tapping two NFC enabled devices.
Before you start upgrading your Blackberry to OS 7.1 you should have the latest Blackberry desktop manager on your PC. I would recommend you to save all your existing files using Blackberry Desktop manager because your Blackberry will delete all the data after you upgrade. Also remember or note down your Blackberry apps details such as logins and settings. You will have to do all the settings again after upgrading your phone.
Now download the OS for your Blackberry from your PC. Here are the download links for your Blackberry device. Make sure you download the correct file for your Blackberry device.
